beautiful.

Don't know how it is You looked at me & saw the person that I could be. Awakening my heart, breaking through the dark suddenly your grace like sunlight burning at midnight making my life something so beautiful, beautiful.

Ahhh I'm sorry I have been such a slacker at updating my blog! I've been busy as usual and when I wasn't busy I was spending it resting or spending every minute I could with my fellow interns since I know my time with them is coming to an end. I don't even know where to begin but, for time's sake I'm going to save the blog about just how much God has taught me for a later date and fill you all in on what I've been up to lately!

Since I last updated, we went to Student Life at the beach with the high school in Orange Beach and got to hear some awesome music by Charlie Hall and hear some great messages by David Platt! It was a new experience for me teaching a small group of all different ages and with boys in it but it definitely taught me a lot! From that camp, last Thursday at TNT I got the chance to pray with a girl as she accepted Christ because of what He did in her life at camp! How great is our God!

After that week we went back to a regular week (well, as regular as it gets in our world haha) and for Chaos with the middle school I got my first (AND LAST) experience with paintball! I pretty much ended up shooting at trees with Megan and never leaving my hiding spot. But, I managed to get nailed and as tears flooded down my face (I'm a wimp) I swore that was the last time I would ever play again. I later came home to a chigger infested body... great fun. Paintball is NOT my game. Then Megan, Spencer, Chris, and I took off on a day trip to New Orleans and spent a great day just walking around and doing lots of random stuff! It was a lot of fun and quite the experience! We saw lots of interesting things that made for some good laughs. I am so thankful God blessed me with such amazing people to work with & that I can have so much fun in fellowship with them!

After that week we went on to VBS every night Sunday- Wednesday followed up by a visit from my grandparents! I was able to pray with a young girl as she accepted Christ and just to see the excitement on her face to experience life for the first time was an unexplainable experience! I underestimate what children are capable of too often, she had a joy inside her that instantly showed me she had a true encounter with Christ! Praise the Lord! Megan and I were in the karate class (for some reason) but ventured off to the rodeo class and took our turns trying to rope people and riding horses. Haha, natural born cowgirls I'm telling ya ;) I also enjoyed getting to see my grandparents on their visit but felt as if it wasn't long enough because even when I wasn't working I was so exhausted I could have just sat their for hours zoned out haha.

This week we're going canoeing with the middle school for Chaos so that should be interesting and following this week we will be heading out on the Texas Mission Trip to Port Arthur, TX so please please be in prayer over that! I'm so thankful for this Discipleship Blitz small group bible study the interns lead for different age groups on Sunday nights... I teach 10th grade girls and I just love them! I have left the past two weeks smiling and praying thanking God for all that He is doing in their lives and all the progress I see! They always touch my heart and I'm so grateful for such amazing girls, I can't wait to see how God uses them!

I find myself with only a little over 3 weeks left here and it is a bittersweet feeling! I miss all my family and friends and even my state to an extent (haha) but, here I've made friendships to last a lifetime, had experiences I'll never forget, seen lives change, met the most hospitable people in the US, discovered myself, learn how to surrender/submit/& trust, and SO much more. But, I'll save my summary over that for my blog in a few weeks. I am so thankful I got to come down here and that I listened to God's call. This is a summer I'll never forget and the best one I've ever had. Thank you for all your prayers! Add me on my new twitter: Macy_Hall (scary, I'm acting like a Mississippian haha) Love!

Now there's a joy inside I can't contain but even perfect days can end in rain & though it's pouring down I see You through the clouds shining on my face. I have come undone but I have just begun Changing by Your grace. :)
